Panopto Recording Download For Macbook Air

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue I currently have with my mac book air?

Hi, I am trying to record something on Panopto with my MacBook Air, OS Catalina 10.15.7. But it keeps on showing the colored wheel and the recording doesn't launch. I then have to Force Quit because the application isn't responding. Screen recording on Macbook Air became a lot easier with macOS Mojave which comes in September 2018. There's a Screen Record tool in the brand new screenshot toolbar. 1 Firstly you have to open the screenshot toolbar by pressing the “Command + Shift + 5.” 2 You can easily Record Entire Screen or Record Selected Portion. -Purchased new, late 2012

-Processor: 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5

-Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

-Storage Capacity: 120 GB

-Storage Capacity Free/Left: 68 GB

-Current OS X 10.9.5 (13F1911)

I am trying to download 'Microsoft One Note' onto my MacBook Air but it won't seem to let me. It keeps coming up with an error message;

'We could not complete your purchase. (null) can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because OS X version 10.10 or later is required.'

I have however downloaded and installed the 'macOS High Sierra' recently.

This problem occurs to other apps as well when i try to download them off the App Store onto the MacBook Air.

Any help/advice on what to do?

Check that you have the Panopto Recorder software installed (Start > All Programs > Panopto).
Note: Panopto is installed on all university staff PCs, lecture theatres and teaching spaces.
